IKEDA MOHANDO CO.,LTD. has been aiming to become the top manufacturer of topical products since its establishment in 1909.
In 2010, we decided on a new corporate logo and slogan in order to further create value in line with the needs of the times while continuing to carry on the technologies and traditions we have cultivated over the past 100 years.
The corporate logo depicts our commitment to manufacturing by using the katakana notation of power, “チカラ” and our outstanding expertise by clarifying the specific business domain of healing the skin.
At this milestone, we will take the first step toward the next 100 years. From MUHItoMUHI, we continue to take on new Challenges of Transformation.

Our Commitment to the Corporate Logo Design

The new corporate logo features bold Gothic letters and angular lettering to convey the strength of the company, while the protruding “m” with the motif of a cream agent expresses our commitment to being a company with a “unique twist” in all of our products. The corporate color of red, while inheriting the company’s traditional image color, also expresses the company’s insatiable passion for manufacturing and our dedication to developing innovative products.

Our thinking behind MUHI has been changing along with our corporate activities.

  1. Step 1
    1920s to 1940s MUHI as a product name

    The corporate logo was used for the MUHI in a tube product which was released in 1927.
    It was also used in advertisements such as enamel signage.

    1950s to 1990s MUHI became the corporate logo

    We aimed for the MUHI brand to become the leading brand for insect bite medicines.
    We began to use the product logo for the MUHI brand as the corporate logo.

    2000s MUHI represents a brand category

    The MUHI brand is designed to reflect the intention of aiming to be an anti-itch specialist by offering “MUHI series for any itch” not only for insect bites. The expansion of the targeted categories contributed to the growth of the company and the strengthening of the brand.
